Day 01 : Delhi

Arrive Delhi and the representative will meet and transfer to the hotel for check in. Afternoon you can go for sightseeing of Delhi, which includes the India Gate, Akshardham Temple, Red Fort, Qutub Minar and Lotus Temple. Later return back to hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra (Drive 210 kms) 

Early morning breakfast and drive to agra.
Agra - Known all over the world as City of Taj, the white marble mausoleum of Mumtaz Mahal, beloved queen of Emperor Shah Jahan, Agra was also has red sand stone Agra Fort and the ornate tomb of Itmad-ud-daulah as its other highlights that are worth a visit. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03: Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur (Drive 235 Km) 

After breakfast drive to Fatehpur Sikri - The Mughal city built by Akbar in the honor of Sheikh Salim Chisti is known for His Dargah, Panch Mahal, Buland Darwaza and Jodha Bai Palace. On arrival check-in at the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04  : Jaipur  

Early morning after breakfast, proceed for tour of Jaipur & Amber Fort including elephant ride. Ride on an elephant just like kings and queens, princes and princesses from the bygone era to Amber Fort. One of the finest examples of Rajput architecture, Diwani-i-am, Kali Temple and Jai Mandir or Hall of victory are the highlights of the fort.

Day 05: Jaipur - Mumbai (By Flight) 

Morning you will be transferred to the airport to connect flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai, you will be met and transferred to the hotel. Afternoon you will be given half day city tour of Mumbai.

City tour of Bombay - The tour includes 'Gateway of India' overlooking the Harbour, the 'Towers of Silence', 'Marine Drive', the 'Colaba Causeway' - the commercial heart of Bombay and the Dhobi Ghat, the unique and colourful outdoor 'laundry'. Drive upto the Malabar Hill to the lovely 'Hanging Gardens' and the Kamla Nehru Park from where you will get a wonderful view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea , spread out before you. Also visit Mani Bhawan, a small museum dedicated to the life and works of Mahatma Gandhi, and the bustling Crawford Market. Overnight at the hotel.

   

Day 06 : Mumbai - Aurangabad (By Flight)

In the morning drive to the airport for the flight to Aurangabad. After a short break we start an excursion to Ellora Caves (7th - 10th century AD). The magnificent group of rock temples of Ellora are a part of world heritage monuments. Ellora group of temples represent the art and sculptures of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism, the three dominant religions of India.

   

Day 07 : Aurangabad - Ajanta Caves - Aurangabad 

After the breakfast we leave for Ajanta caves (around 100 km). Of the thirty monuments at Ajanta, four caves No 9,10,26 and 29 are sanctuaries or Chaitya containing a Stupa at the centre of their apses.

The rest are monastic residences or Viharas. An Indian poet Kalidasa describes these caves as the gem set of jewellery, rich furniture, imposing architecture, natural scenery and fleeting expressions on the faces.

   

Day 08 : Aurangabad - Mumbai (By flight) 

In the morning we will drive to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai, you will be transferred to the hotel. Rooms are available to get fresh and change before we depart for the airport with the Classic India Tours representative.

   

Day 09 : Mumbai - Delhi (By Flight)   

On arrival, our representative will meet you and check you into your hotel for rest and relaxation. In the late evening we drive you to the airport for your onward journey.
