To feast your eyes on the snow capped peaks of the Himalayas, you can trek up to Snow View or hire a pony. The point, Snow View offers spectacular views of the northern Himalayan peaks. Pant Nagar is the nearest airport, which is 71 kilometres from Nainital. From Pant Nagar one can hire a taxi or take a bus. Kathgodam is the nearest railway station and it takes about an hour or so to reach Nainital from Kathgodam. Nainital is well connected by road to other parts of the country. You can reach Nainital by road from Delhi, Lucknow, Agra and Bareilly. Nainital is located in the state of Uttaranchal and is about 277 kilometres from Delhi.
